MEET THE INTERCEPT TELEMED TEAM

Your Proactive ICU Partner

An In-depth Understanding from Years of Experience

At Intercept, we designed a TeleICU services company that is led by physicians who have an in depth understanding of the problems and opportunities for improved outcomes within an ICU. Dr. Diego Reino, founder of Intercept, has the privilege of caring for the sickest patients in the ICU throughout his career. His greatest frustrations have always come from patients suffering adverse events because of suboptimal bedside staffing or delayed access to critical patient data. Having timely access to this information could have potentially altered the patient’s outcome and avoided a complication.

INTERCEPT TELEMED WORKS TOGETHER WITH YOUR HOSPITAL

Providing Solutions Through True Partnerships

Knowing that similar challenges exist throughout the country, Intercept has focused on building real partnerships with our hospitals and bedside staff based in trust and open dialogue in order to improve the outcomes in their ICUs.

At Intercept, we feel that combining skilled Intensivists who are proactively monitoring patients with the most sophisticated predictive analytic software are the main ingredients needed to safely deliver ICU care while reducing length of stay and other related complications.
Whether you are in search of a full-scale TeleICU program or you’re looking to provide a consultative service such as tele-psychiatry, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide a highly customizable service that is tailored to each of our hospital partners’ needs. We thank you for taking the time to learn about Intercept and potentially entrusting your patients to us.

The Intercept Vision

Dr. Reino created Intercept because he saw a need for improvement in the quality of care in the ICU, and to address challenges associated with a current shortage of intensivist physicians that is growing larger. His aims are:
